Well, as the heading says, its my 21st birthday :D
Always wanted to try decorating with Fondant but never got a chance to because I'm only always baking at home, so i decided to experiment with my first fondant cake which would be on my 21st.
I mean if something goes wrong, I only have myself to blame :D
The cake for my 21st was a 2 tier cake, with the top layer a chocolate cake with chocolate swiss meringue buttercream
and...
A RAINBOW CAKE with lemon infused swiss meringue buttercream.
kinda like how light swiss meringue is but it melts very quickly in our weather D:

all stacked and filled...

and crumb coated.
Made Cupcakes to give to my guests are gift favours but i was so busy I forgot to give a great
amount of people...
The final product, all packed.
Final Product of the cake I made, which was layed with Red Man Fondant and Satin Ice Dark
Chocolate Fondant. Started laying the top tier first with fondant and my heart almost sank when I
saw the fondant tearing apart, but I managed to salvage it at the end, but bottom one was so much
better.
Verdict: Buy Satin Ice in futre to lay onto cake (Although its much pricier) , but it's much easier.
Red Man's is pretty good for
modelling because it hardens quite easily :D
And the interior of the rainbow cake after it was cut up!
But a pity that the light went off right after I cut it up but i'm glad most enjoyed the cake :D
Personally, I would prefer the chocolate cake at all times but the rainbow cake's just so visually
enticing. Well, I may be biased because I do not really like to eat vanilla, but i love baking all sorts
of cake, but the irony is that I do not have a sweet tooth.
All my gifts and highlights of the party :D
